Here are the steps to start working with a gas pressure regulator:

  1. Begin with the T-Screw in the fully open position, which means it is screwed all the way up. This will close the gas pressure regulator.
  2. Open the gas tank.
  3. To allow gas to flow, start screwing the T-Screw in, which means turning it clockwise to open it.
  4. When you are finished, turn off the gas tank first.
  5. Then, screw the T-Screw out, turning it counterclockwise to open it all the way up.
  6. Remember, screwing clockwise (screwing in) means you are opening the gas flow, and screwing counterclockwise (screwing out) means you are closing it.
